Western Australia has announced its long-anticipated major homegrown event, EverNow. Taking place between October 4-9, EverNow is a free local festival that will celebrate WA’s unique nature and Indigenous culture during the Aboriginal season of Kambarang – the season of wildflowers and birth.
The festival will showcase three key events over its duration:
- Fire Gardens: Dreamscapes of leaping flames, shadow and wonder at Government House Gardens, painted with the palette of thousands of fire pots, candles, lanterns, and bewilderment.
- Song Circle: A live performance and celebration of Noongar song and dance set at the Supreme Court Gardens in a future-focused immersive wonderland.
- Boorna Waanginy: The Trees Speak: Transforming Kings Park with a display of light, sound and projections, and telling the stories of Noongar culture and the beauty and biodiversity of Australia’s South West.
