Senior government officials toured important G20 Summit-related sites on Sunday to assess readiness for the major event, including Delhi Lieutenant Governor V K Saxena and the Prime Minister’s Principal Secretary P K Mishra.
To minimise the annoyance to the public, officials claimed they used two minibuses for the site visit. They went to the Bharat Mandapam convention centre, which will hold important G20 meetings, the Palam technical area, and a few of the nearby roundabouts that the international delegates will travel through, according to officials.
