As Delhi gets ready to host the G20 Summit on September 9 and 10, various airlines, including Air India, IndiGo, and Vistara, have announced a one-time waiver for travellers travelling to and from the national capital between September 8 and 10.
According to a statement released by IndiGo, “Due to the G20 Summit 2023 taking place in New Delhi, IndiGo is offering one-time waivers for passengers travelling to and from Delhi between September 08 and 11, 2023.”
Customers have the choice of postponing or cancelling their flights and receiving reimbursements. The airline stated that passengers have been informed in advance of schedule changes and flight cancellations.
In case of any questions regarding the promotion, IndiGo advised customers to call 0124 6173838 or 0124 4973838, the company’s customer service contacts.
The same goes for Air India, which declared that anyone with a confirmed ticket to or from Delhi between September 7 and 11 will receive a one-time waiver of all fees.
In Delhi, there will be traffic restrictions from September 7 to September 11, 2023. Passengers with confirmed tickets for flights to or from Delhi on these dates are being given a one-time remission of the appropriate fees if they want to change their travel date or flight. According to Air India, just the fare difference for the new flight, if any, would be applicable.
