Innovation, representation, revival
“Our foremost priority is to rejuvenate inbound tourism with innovation-driven strategies,” says Rvi Gosain. “We’ll also work towards amplifying the voice of our members, especially SMEs, and ensuring financial and policy-based support for recovery.”
He emphasises the need to digitalise operations, enhance member training, and build stronger synergies with state tourism boards. “This isn’t just about representation; it’s about creating sustainable models that benefit everyone in the value chain.”
Carrying forward a legacy
Rajiv Mehra’s presidency witnessed resilience in the face of uncertainty. He acknowledges this with gratitude and a sense of responsibility. “Rajiv Ji steered us through turbulent waters. My goal is to uphold that legacy by being a bridge between continuity and change,” he states.
Ravi Gosain’s leadership style promises transparency, regular member feedback loops, and a stronger consultative approach. “Leadership is not about a person; it’s about listening and evolving together.”
Government coordination and global outreach
Ravi Gosain plans to establish a dedicated IATO task force to engage with government ministries and global tourism alliances. He shares, “We’ll advocate for seamless visa policies, airport facilitation, and promotional funds for overseas marketing. We want IATO to be seen not just as an Indian voice but as a globally respected body contributing to sustainable and responsible tourism.”
Global alignment, local empowerment
Aligning IATO with global trends such as digital transformation, sustainability, and experiential travel is high on Ravi Gosain’s agenda. “We will support members in adopting green practices and tapping into emerging markets. India is evolving as a preferred destination. We must align with global benchmarks to retain our edge,” he says.
Team that listens, acts, and delivers
The strength of Team Stronger Together lies in its diversity and inclusivity. “We bring experience, new energy, and above all, a shared purpose. Whether you’re a large operator or a start-up in a tier II city, your voice matters. We will create platforms for equal participation and consistent support,” he shares.
The time for action is now!
With elections set for May 10 at Hotel The Ashok in New Delhi Ravi Gosain’s campaign highlights collaboration over competition. “Together, we are not just contesting; we are committing—to take IATO to greater heights, transparently and inclusively.”
