The deal was signed in Delhi NCR by Gul Panag, co-founder of SunFuel, and Abinash Manghani, CEO, WelcomHeritage. Leading figures from the industry and members of the media who are enthusiastic about electric mobility and promoting sustainability attended this soirée.
WelcomHeritage Hotels CEO Abinash Manghani provided more information on the ground-breaking initiative and the company’s future goals, saying, “By the end of the year, we aim to successfully offer our guests responsible driveable itineraries from Delhi to our properties in Panchkula, Kasauli, Solan, and Shimla.”

He went on to say, “We are committed to actively promoting responsible holidays and Electric Vehicles are important to the sustainability narrative of responsible travel,” which further reaffirmed the brand’s efforts in the direction of sustainability.
Gul Panag, co-founder of SunFuel Electric shares her views, “We applaud WelcomHeritage on their decision to become EV-friendly. Now that everything is electric, road vacations will be even more fun.”
Sudhir Nayak, founder and CEO, SunFuel Electric gave his thoughts, “Destination charging is a key pillar among the 3 pillars of EV charging – City Charging, Highway Charging, and Destination Charging. The installation of a smooth Destination Charging Experience at upscale hotels and resorts is a requirement if we are to accelerate the uptake of high-end electric vehicles in India. We are working hard at SunFuel to scale up that experience.”
To persuade people to adopt electric automobiles, a highly visible charging infrastructure is needed. The partnership between WelcomHeritage and SunFuel Electric ensures that their sleek chargers are placed in a high-traffic area of the hotel, right in front of the gaze of an arriving visitor.
