To reaffirm India’s potential as a key source market, the Azerbaijan Tourism Board recently concluded a successful three-city destination seminar for travel trade partners across New Delhi, Bangalore, and Mumbai in partnership with BRANDit. The event showcased Azerbaijan’s unwavering commitment to India as a pivotal source market and aimed to educate and inspire travel agents and tour operators, about the latest offerings and strategies for promoting Azerbaijan as a must-visit destination across travel segments.
The seminars were organized to empower the trade with knowledge and tools they need to effectively promote Azerbaijan as a unique travel destination. Over the course of the workshops, attendees were presented with updates on the country’s tourism strategy, offered insights into the destination’s diverse attractions, and provided with marketing resources to help them effectively engage and cater to the diverse interests of Indian tourists while visiting Azerbaijan.
The seminars included destination presentations along with interactive sessions led by Mr Elman Mammadov, Regional Manager for South Asia, International Markets and Business Events of Azerbaijan Tourism Board, who shared his expertise on how to create unforgettable experiences for travellers to Azerbaijan. The seminars covered topics including cultural heritage, natural beauty, adventure tourism, the vibrant capital city, Baku and beyond. The discussions also highlighted accessibility and ease of travel to Azerbaijan.
