In response to the increasing demand for international travel to and from India, Etihad Airways, an Abu Dhabi-based airline, plans to launch new routes to Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram. On January 1, these two extra services are scheduled to start.
At the moment, Etihad and its partner airline Air Arabia jointly oversee a network of 232 flights per week that serve ten important Indian gateways.
One of Etihad’s biggest and most important markets is India. Salil Nath, the head of Etihad’s India division, stated, “Since its establishment, our network design has been practical, strategically seizing new opportunities in response to the expanding demand and development in the region.
According to him, this strategy has continuously fueled the airline’s network expansion in India.
