The Lodhi Strengthens Leadership Team with Mr Anuj Nainta as Hotel Manager

The Lodhi, New Delhi is delighted to announce the appointment of Mr Anuj Nainta as the new Hotel Manager. With an impressive career spanning over two decades in the hospitality industry, Mr Nainta brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of excellence to this prestigious role.
In his new role, Mr Nainta will be responsible for overseeing daily operations at the luxury hotel, managing a team of 380 highly skilled associates, and enhancing guest satisfaction while maintaining the establishment’s worldclass standards, optimising financial performance, and driving innovative initiatives.

Mr Nainta joins The Lodhi from Taj Mahal & Towers Hotel in Mumbai, where he served as the Director of Food & Beverage. During his tenure, he managed a team of 367 skilled associates and oversaw the operations of nine acclaimed restaurants and bars, as well as eleven stateoftheart event venues. His strategic approach to marketing, supplier negotiations, and staff recruitment significantly contributed to the hotel’s success. Prior to this role, Mr Nainta was the Director of Food & Beverage at Barcelo Hotel Group in Dubai. There, he played a pivotal role in the preopening of Occidental Al Jaddaf and managed operations at Occidental Dubai Production City. His innovative commercial strategies and leadership in staff development were instrumental in driving the business forward.
Mr Nainta’s expertise extends to various certifications, including HACCP & ISO Standard Auditor and WSET certifications in wine. In his previous roles, he has been instrumental in guiding hotels to achieve notable accolades, including the ‘Best Asian Restaurant’ award for Signature in the UAE in 2013, conferred by the Masala Awards and the Varli Global Culinary Awards in New York. Additionally, establishments under his management have received nominations for the ‘Best Newcomer’ category by Time Out, and have been featured on prominent platforms such as the ‘Foodshala’ television series from 2013 to 2018, as well as the ‘Cookbook Show’ by Zee TV in 2019.

Mr. Nainta who is a B.Sc. in Hotel and Hospitality Administration from the Institute of Hotel Management, Bangalore, was also shortlisted for the Caterer Middle East Award as Restaurateur of the Year and winning the Meliá Leader Award in the year 2014.
