Several agreements have been inked between India and Nepal, according to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, with an emphasis on improving physical connection and co-operation in the electricity and tourist industries.
Following their bilateral meeting, Modi and Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ spoke to the media at a joint press conference. He remarked, “We have developed additional train ties to strengthen physical connectivity. Today, India and Nepal established a long-term power trade pact. This will strengthen our nations’ power industries.”
“We have determined that projects connected to the Ramayana Circuit should be hastened in order to further reinforce this,” Modi continued. Prachanda acknowledged: “This is my fourth trip to India. There has long been a connection between India and Nepal. We talked about ways to improve connections between the two countries today. Additionally, numerous ground-breaking projects were launched together.”
The launching and inauguration ceremonies of numerous projects were virtually attended by Modi and Prachanda, enhancing cross-border connectivity and the movement of people, commerce, and energy. The e-plaque for the railway’s Kurtha-Bijalpura segment was unveiled jointly by the two presidents.
