Starting on January 15, IndiGo will operate daily direct flights between Mumbai and Ayodhya, becoming the inaugural carrier to link the two cities. The return flight will leave Ayodhya at 3:15 pm and land in Mumbai at 5:40 pm. The flight will leave Mumbai at 12:30 pm and arrive in Ayodhya at 2:45 pm. This comes after IndiGo, taking advantage of the impending opening of the Ram temple, started operating flights between Ayodhya and Delhi on December 13. Additionally, starting on December 30, Air India Express will offer flights between Delhi and Ayodhya. Low-cost airline IndiGo announced that starting on January 15, there will be daily direct flights between Mumbai and Ayodhya. This makes IndiGo the first airline to connect the financial city to the temple town, which is quickly growing into a major destination for international travellers.
