In order to repatriate Indian citizens back from Sudan, Operation Kaveri is being supported by IndiGo by conducting chartered aircraft. In light of the ongoing war and instability, it is crucial that the Indian residents who are living in Sudan are kept secure and in good health. Over 450 Indian nationals who were evacuated from Sudan will be returned via chartered flights, according to IndiGo, as part of Operation Kaveri.
To bring back Indians who have been evacuated from Sudan, two flights will take off from Jeddah bound for Delhi and Bengaluru.
On Friday, India returned 754 individuals from the conflict-torn Sudan as part of Operation Kaveri. According to official statistics, there have currently been 1,360 Indians returned home.
