According to a Delhi court, the ability to travel internationally is a crucial fundamental right that should only ever be restricted in extreme cases. When allowing a businessman suspected of defrauding a bank of Rs 135 crore to go to the US to attend his son’s graduation, Special Judge Anil Antil made the observation.
Raman Sethi was given permission by the judge to visit the US from June 12 to June 30, despite being warned not to tamper with the evidence or make any attempt to influence the witnesses.
