Leisure Hotels Group (LHG), an experiential luxury resort chain with a bouquet of 29 properties spanning North India, announces the signing of new properties in 2022, as part of its consolidation strategy across Uttarakhand & Himachal.
Out of these four, Atman, Dharamshala was launched in January ‘22. The upcoming properties are in the state of Uttarakhand; in Bhimtal, Naukuchiatal & Mussoorie.
While speaking on the expansion plans of the Group in the leisure segment, Vibhas Prasad, Director, Leisure Hotels Group said “Our strategy of operating in the experiential leisure segment over the last three decades is paying rich dividends as we have observed an evolving travel trend towards the same. Domestic travellers trapped travelling within the country in the last two years due to an ongoing pandemic, have created new travel circuits and thronged to existing popular destinations in large numbers. Our continued focus in the luxury experiential segment in the hills, has ensured that we are the preferred hospitality chain for these high paying customers”.
“In our quest to optimize the asset right mix of owned & managed, roughly 70 per cent of the Group’s portfolio is owned and the rest are managed. With the addition of these four properties, we would strive to have 32 properties by the end of Fiscal Year. In addition to our ongoing talks for new properties across markets in Rajasthan & Goa.” Further added Mr Prasad.
Leisure Hotels Group operates beautiful properties in the tourist states & scenic destinations offering leisure, adventure, wilderness, wellness & spiritual experiences across North India that includes Nainital, Corbett National Park, Ramgarh, Kausani, Naukuchiatal, Rishikesh, Haridwar, Dharamshala & Kasauli, apart from Goa. The luxury hotels and resorts in the group’s portfolio are located within beautiful natural surroundings, such as by the hills, forests, or by the riverside.
In addition to building properties for ourselves over the last 3 decades, the group has also built two resorts for the Mahindra Group and four for the Taj Group.
