The High Commissioner of Mauritius HE Mr H.Dillum hosted a reception at his residence, where many distinguished stakeholders from travel trade and tour operators were present. The highlight was to promote Mauritius as a tourist destination, especially during this summer season in India.
The evening witnessed eminent indivuduals from the industry discussing the opportunities for Mauritius as a tourist destination. HE Mr H.Dillum said, “Mauritius as a destination is attracting a number of Indian tourists as the country is expanding the reach to different parts of the world. People are eager to travel to Mauritius, and experience the paradise of nature and leisure. We are pleased to reach out to the Indian market and keep them updated about the hidden gems of Mauritius.”
Promoting the country for tourism from various sectors, Mauritius Tourism is keen on promoting the country as a wedding destination. With Air Mauritius resuming flights from Delhi to Mauritius, travelling to the country has become hassle free for the people from the northern belt of India as well.
