The Deputy Governor of Andijan Region, Mr. Azizkhon Maksumov, and the President of India Food Tourism Organisation, Mr. Rajeev Goyal, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote the culinary culture of Andijan.
The MOU aims to foster a closer collaboration between the two entities in promoting the unique culinary heritage of Andijan. India Food Tourism Organisation will provide marketing and promotional support to showcase the rich
culinary offerings of Andijan to a wider audience, with a focus on attracting food tourism.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Maksumov stated, “We are thrilled to partner with India Food Tourism Organisation to showcase the rich culinary heritage of Andijan to the world. Our region has a unique and diverse cuisine that is an integral part of our cultural identity. This partnership will help us to promote our culinary culture to a global audience and attract more visitors to our region.”
Mr. Goyal added, “We are delighted to partner with Andijan Region to promote its culinary heritage. Food tourism is a rapidly growing segment, and Andijan’s cuisine has immense potential to attract tourists from around the world. Our organization will provide marketing and promotional support to showcase the region’s unique cuisine and culinary experiences to the global audience.”
The MOU signing ceremony was attended by officials from the Andijan Regional Government and India Food Tourism Organisation. The partnership between the two entities is expected to boost the tourism industry in Andijan and contribute to the region’s economic growth.
