To educate its members on visa-related concerns, the TAAI Nagpur Chapter arranged an interactive session with VFS Global. The lecture focused mostly on the VFS Global services, including the VIP lounge, E-Visa, and visas at doorsteps. Organising the workshop was Henry Moses from VFS Global. According to Irshad Mehdi, Chairman of the TAAI Nagpur Chapter, “By attending the knowledge session our members gained knowledge of the visa process and services.” The gathering drew in close to 50 chapter members. Mehdi emphasised, “We think the keys to progress are knowledge and networking.
Considering the event a great success, The topics that were covered during the session, according to Kawaljeet Singh Vij, Treasurer of the TAAI Nagpur Chapter, are generally unfamiliar to agents from tier 2 and tier 3 cities. The event’s goal, according to him, was to educate the participants so that they can eventually expand their businesses. The chapter schedules periodic destination training programmes. Vij stated, “We are conducting a destination training programme with Korea Tourism in the first week of June.
“The event was pretty nice and the knowledge session was very interactive,” said Rajan Dua, Managing Director & Co-Founder, Udaan India. He also said that it is imperative to organise such session in tier2 cities. “Timing of the event is also good as it is the pick summer season,” said Dua. It is important to mention here that Udaan India a leading visa facilitation company sponsored the event. “We have just opened our office in Nagpur and plans are afoot to launch offices in Coimbatore, Bhubaneswar, Indore and Guwahati by the end of this year,” revealed Dua.
