The Leela Palace Udaipur on the occasion of International Women’s Day 2025 presents ‘Palaash’, a royal pop-up dining experience celebrating heritage, sustainability, and the indomitable spirit of women. Set to be held at the breathtaking Sheesh Mahal on 8th and 9th March 2025, this special event is curated to honour the extraordinary culinary talent of tribal women, trained and led by the celebrated Chef Amninder Sandhu.

Renowned for her deep-rooted approach to Indian cuisine, Chef Amninder Sandhu brings authentic, traditional open-fire cooking, and hyper-local flavours to Palaash. Born out of her childhood experience of growing up in Northeast India, her extensive travels, and deep engagement with local communities – Palaash is a commitment to uplifting tribal women from neighbouring villages and creating a sustainable, modern Indian dining experience.

At this two-day regal dining affair, guests will get to savour delicacies like Ambaadi, Chinch, Charred Ananas, and Dahi Ratalu Gulab, each dish a masterpiece that weaves together tradition and innovation. Each plate is crafted to pay homage to not just India’s rich cultural heritage but also the tribal women whose skills and stories breathe life into every dish.
