Tourism and Hospitality Titans gather on a Unified Stage

Stakeholders from the Rajasthan tourism and hospitality sector gathered at the Vesta International Hotel in Jaipur on Saturday. During this event, distinguished individuals who made remarkable contributions to the tourism sector were honored. The occasion was the Rajasthan Chapter’s Rajasthan Hospitality and Tourism Stakeholder Meet-2024, organized under the banner of the Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI). On this occasion, Mr. Virendra Shekhawat, Secretary of ADTOI Rajasthan, said that the event was organized to bring all stakeholders together on one platform. The People behind this elevation of the state’s tourism, through their experience and hard work. Officials from both central and state tourism departments were also present at the meeting. The program included discussions on the challenges and solutions in the tourism sector. Shekhawat mentioned that they aim to promote rural and domestic tourism to help each other grow.

Prominent Personalities Honored –

Earlier, the program was inaugurated by lighting the lamp by Mr. GD Bairwa from the Central Tourism Ministry, Mr. Rakesh Sharma, Additional Director of the Rajasthan Tourism Department, and other chief guests. Mr. Kuldeep Singh Chandela, President of the Federation of Hospitality and Tourism of Rajasthan (FHTR) and the Hotel and Restaurant Association (HRAR), Mr. Khalid Khan, Vice President of FHTR, Mr. Mahendra Singh, President of the Rajasthan Association of Tour Operators (RATO) and Co-Chairman of the Indian Association of Tour Operators (IATO) Rajasthan, Mr. Mohan Singh Medtia, Secretary of RATO, Mr. Rajendra Singh Jodha, Executive Committee Member of RATO and FHTR, and Mr. Sanjay Kaushik, National Growth Committee Advisor, were honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

Open Discussion on Wedding Tourism in Rajasthan –

On this occasion, Mr. Kuldeep Singh, President of HRAR, discussed wedding themes and wedding tourism. He mentioned that wedding themes are currently in trend, and promoting this in Rajasthan can significantly boost domestic tourism. They are working deeply on this. ADTOI President Mr. P.P. Khanna emphasized that domestic tourism is the main engine of the economy at both the national and state levels and needs a push. Mr. Surendra Shahpura, a member of the organization, stressed focusing on heritage and culture. Senior Vice President Mr. Rajat Sawhney, ADTOI Rajasthan Chairman Mr. Hem Singh, Mr. Mahendra Singh, and Mr. Vivek Goenka also addressed the platform.
