The Amazing Thailand Festival 2023, organised by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Mumbai Office proved to be a vibrant affair that brought avid travellers, trade partners, and city folks to experience the cultural diversity and captivating offerings of Thailand.
The Festival was inaugurated by distinguished dignitaries and officials from the tourism industry, including:
- Tanes Petsuwan, Deputy Governor of International Marketing Asia and South Pacific at the Tourism Authority of Thailand
- E. Donnawit Poolsawat, Consul-General of the Royal Thai Consulate-General Mumbai
- Kanchana Patarachoke, Deputy Director-General, Department of International Organizations, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Thailand.
- Nithee Seeprae, Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research, and Development, Tourism Authority of Thailand
- Miss Somradee Chitchong, Deputy Governor for Administration, Tourism Authority of Thailand, And
- Isada Saovaros, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand – Mumbai Office, among others
Held at Jio World Drive from 24 – 26 March 2023, the buzzing festival attracted over 7000 attendees a day and introduced them to the 5 F’s of Thailand: Food, Film, Fashion, Fight, and Festival. Through various engaging activities and events, the attendees could discover and indulge in the many facets of Thai culture, from its world-renowned cuisine to its vibrant fashion and film. The festival also highlighted the country’s martial arts heritage and showcased the excitement of Muay Thai fighting.
Elated by the incredible response garnered by the festival, Isada Saovaros, Director of the Tourism Authority of Thailand (Mumbai), stated: “We are immensely thrilled with the overwhelming success of the Amazing Thailand Festival 2023.
