New AI plug-ins embraced by the Tourism Industry
One of the many revelations revealed at last week’s Microsoft Build 2023 developer conference was the information that artificial intelligence plugins, such as those currently enabled in ChatGPT, are now operational throughout Microsoft’s products, including the Bing search platform. Travel agencies like Tripadvisor, Skyscanner, Trip com, Fareportal, and others are also implementing new plugins. Language models that are connected with external data sources through plugins are used by ChatGPT and Bing Chat. This makes it possible for AI-powered assistants to help users in real-time with things like making trip plans. Microsoft is adopting the open plugin standard that OpenAI just made available for ChatGPT in March.
